Twas’ but 19 newsletters ago when I entreated my dear readers to join me in a (maybe?) questionable task: putting our most passionate thoughts on the global superstar known as Taylor Swift on paper. At the time, I was thinking about and listening to Swift A LOT and was looking for some kind of outlet that wasn’t yammering at my politely disinterested friends. At the time, it seemed like everyone (at least online) couldn’t stop thinking and talking about Swift either. Yet, even as my call for submissions garnered the interest of future readers, nary a submission I received. In the words of our Lord and Savior Bella Hadid, it was quiet! Thankfully, I was able to convince some friends to write something and they really delivered. And that’s really all that matters. The final product, Taylor Swift: A Zine, is available for your reading today! You can read and download it here. It’s free and digital only for now. I am going to look into printing a few copies for myself; if you’re interested in having one for a small compensation, let me know. Otherwise, go crazy.
Thank you A MILLION TIMES and more to the zine’s designer, RAFTM1 Winnie Wang who worked on finishing this and applying my notes during the busiest week of their year. They also wrote a truly inspired piece on Taylor Swift’s texts for the zine. Thank you to RsAFsTM Jessica Kasiama, Verity O’Connell, and Allison Picurro (of
fame) for your contributions. Thank you to Norm from Invisible Publishing for being excited enough for this to preview it on the Invisible blog. I’m obsessed with you all.Thank you all for being readers! A fresh dispatch (hopefully) coming to y’all soon.
